Miners Foundry Wedding – Heidi and Sam’s Wedding

I remember when I met Heidi and Sam for the first time at their consultation, it was an instant friendship.  We laughed, joked, and just couldn’t stop with the wedding talk.  We even came up with the great idea to take a little adventure for their engagement session.  It’s always so great when you meet a couple that is open to a little adventure.  Sam knew a great spot from one of his work trips that he had always wanted to take Heidi to, and that is exactly what we did.  You need to check out their fun and adorable engagement session.  After all that fun and bonding with Heidi and Sam on their engagement session, I was even more stoked to be able to photograph their wedding at the Miners Foundry Culture Center in Nevada City.

Fast forward to almost 6 months later, their wedding day had finally arrived.  I met the couple at their wedding venue, where they got ready in their separate rooms.  As expected, the two were relaxed, yet eager to get married.  They opted to not see each other before the wedding, but were able to share a moment together prior to their wedding ceremony.

At the reception, Heidi and Sam spent the rest of the night with their friends and family.  They drank, celebrated and truly embraced all the love that was around them.

I built so many memories with these two.  Its certainly hard to believe that I have grown to feel so close Heidi and Sam in such a short time.  I will always remember how I tripped and fell on my butt with the Mother of the Bride.  And how she thought it would be funny to tease me that she broke her leg right before the ceremony.  Or that one of the bridesmaid almost took me out with her elbow.  What can I say.  Some may think this is far from perfection.  The way I see it?  This will always be the fun and one of a kind memories that I will cherish.

I’d love to capture your unique love story! If you’re looking for a California wedding photographer, contact me here! I’d love to talk with you.
