When Joyce and Tobias met with me for their consultation, they were very adamant that they did not want to be one of those cheesy couples on their wedding day. Joyce and Tobias had planned an intimate wedding at the beautiful and quaint Rough andReady Vineyard and Guesthouse.  Side note, did you know that there is actually a town called Rough and Ready!?!?!  Yep!  Their little town has a population of 963!  But, I digress.  They were looking for a photographer who would document their wedding day in its true light.  And like many grooms, Tobias was telling me how he did not like to take photos.  They were reassured that I was the wedding photographer that they would like to be along side for their special day after we chatted over coffee and looked over my work together.

Now!  Fast forward to their wedding day.  These two!  THE BIGGEST CHEESEBALLS!!!!!!  No!  I didn’t give them cheesy poses and photos, but these two could not stop smiling.  They were so cute!  I love it when my couples really are just enjoying each other on their wedding day.  And that is what they did.  Sure!   Sure!  The day started off with some nervousness.  Neither of them is big on being the center of attention and they were both just ready to be married already.  But as they day unfolded, you can see them relax and let out their inner child.  They played, giggled, and were just in pure bliss while they were surrounded by their friends and family.

For those of you that don’t know, I just love lego figurines.  So when I saw their cake topper, I was instantly in LOVE.  These two self proclaimed “nerds” are really lucky that I didn’t take those home with me.  Hehe.  I kid.  I kid…But really, I want!
